Chiang Chen-Wei obtained his doctoral degree in Design Strategy from the Graduate School of Art and Design at Kyushu University in Japan. He has served as a full-time academic researcher at Kyushu University. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Creative Technology and Product Design at National Taipei University of Business, and he also teaches an interactive video programming and NFT creation course in the Bachelor’s program at the College of Arts at National Tsing Hua University. He holds positions such as Secretary-General and Board Member of the Taiwan Association of Technological Arts, and Executive Director of the Taiwan Association of Technological Arts Education. His main focus is on human-computer interaction design, new media art creation, user research, and blockchain applications. He frequently organizes workshops related to interactive design and art, and his exhibitions have taken place in Japan, Korea, Beijing, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, Canada, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. His artworks have been exhibited at events such as the Madrid Contemporary Technology Art Festival, SIGGRAPH ASIA Art Gallery, and Tokyo Designers Week, as well as prestigious art venues including the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Science Education Center, and Taoyuan Arts and Technology Festival. He has led students to win awards such as the K.T. Techno Art Award in Interactive Art category, Gold Award, and Asia Digital Art Award. In recent years, in addition to new media art creation, he has devoted himself to blockchain-related applications such as NFT. He specializes in interactive device design and interactive art creation using electronic materials and computer technology, and is dedicated to teaching the application of interactive technology. Chiang Chen-Wei’s core philosophy in his creations and teaching is centered around “fun.” He believes that things that are fun are most likely to evoke people’s childlike innocence and enhance audience experience through interactive behavior in interactive artworks. Recently, his main creative themes revolve around the ways of existence of living organisms in urban environments. Urban environments are primarily shaped by human existence, gradually expanding and encroaching on the existence of non-human organisms. His recent works explore how organisms can survive and coexist with humans in artificial environments.

Chiang Chen-Wei obtained his Ph.D. in Design Strategy from the Graduate School of Art and Design at Kyushu University, Japan, where he also served as a full-time academic researcher.

He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Creative Technology and Product Design at National Taipei University of Business, and also teaches in the Master’s Program of the Department of Multimedia Animation Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts.

Previously, he taught the course Interactive Video Programming and NFT Creation in the Bachelor’s program at the College of Arts, National Tsing Hua University (now temporarily concluded).
